the Medical and Health Sciences Doctoral Study Program (DIKK) at the Medical Faculty of Universitas Diponegoro presented the Doctoral Education Preparatory Program in Medical and Health Sciences (P3DIK). The annual activity aims to provide initial knowledge to prospective students who wish to pursue doctoral education through research, as well as provide an opportunity for them to prepare themselves more maturely for pursuing doctoral studies.

Prof. Dr. Tri Indah Winarni, M.Si.Med., PA, expressed his hope that this activity could provide a strong knowledge base for participants who want to pursue doctoral education. “We hope this activity can provide useful initial knowledge as well as an opportunity to better prepare themselves for pursuing doctoral studies so that the students can pursue their doctorate education smoothly and graduate on time,” said Prof.

The implementation of this year’s P3DIK took place in two sessions. The first session was held from April 22 to May 3, 2024, and the second session will be held on May 27, 2024, in the classroom of the Graduate Building of the Diponegoro University Medical Faculty. The first session was followed by 13 participants, who showed high enthusiasm and followed the entire series of events well.

The activity consists of a series of material displays, feedback, input, and intensive discussions. At the end of the first session, participants were asked to present their research proposals in front of two guides and a source.

The P3DIK program will be officially closed on May 27, 2024, after the entire set of activities for the second session is completed. By the end of this program, participants are expected to be more prepared and steadfast in continuing their doctoral studies in the medical and health sciences.
